Being a former EC Competition coach, horse owner, the former owner of Eastwind Stables and with a lifetime in the horse industry, I understand the importance of providing a quality service and ensuring the best possible hauling experience. Horse transporters must be more then above average drivers - they must be educated and experienced horseman. Transporters also must be organized, think quickly and conduct themselves according to each situation given.
Some folks have never shipped a horse and are scared to ask questions. I enjoy having those conversations with people and welcome people wanting to educate themselves in understanding the process.
I strive to ensure everything goes as smooth as possible for horses and owners, alike. The client plays an important role in the transport process by supplying the information required as honestly and thoughtfully as possible. If everyone is on the same page and have clear understandings ....horse transportation does not need to be stressful for clients and transporter alike.
